The original equipment variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) actuator on certain Ram trucks equipped with 6.7L L6 engines can fail when the motor's solderless compliant pins separate from the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). The dealer repair solution is to offer the same failure-prone design, inviting similar future failures caused by heat and vibration during normal vehicle operation. This 100% new construction Dorman OE FIX VGT actuator is upgraded with soldered compliant pins for a more secure and trouble-free connection to the PCBA. The actuator is engineered and thoroughly tested to help restore factory-spec turbo boost pressure.
